IT EXECUTIVE (INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT)

Job Description

• Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure applications (e.g. MS Exchange 2003, Blackberry server, anti-virus console) and network appliances (e.g. firewall, routers, VPN, internet proxy, emails anti-spamming device).
• Uphold service level guarantee for critical systems and incident management.
• Perform enterprise level backup and restore.
• Manage and liaison with hardware vendors to ensure reasonable response time for requisition and repairs of equipment and peripherals are maintained.
• Ensure operational documents and inventory records namely servers and network applicances are always kept up-to-date.
• Manage timely renewal of maintenance contract.
• Develop and streamline standard operating procedures (SOP) to achieve operational efficiency and deliver quality services to users.
• Ensure corporate IT policies and SOP are strictly implemented.
• Roster to standby for after office hours support.

Job Specification

• Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science.
• CCNA certification is preferred, MSCA (2003) is a plus with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of MS Exchange 2003 and above; Firewall, Cisco routers and switches configuration
