• Requirements Gathering:
  • Leads user requirement definition and analysis activities. This includes facilitating requirements gathering meeting, writing functional requirement /design documents, documenting details of user needs for developing new feature enhancements and /or new applications.
  • Develops detailed functional specifications that clearly define the business needs, benefits, and deliverables of a project.
  • Development use cases from business owners and stakeholders.
• User Centred Analysis:
  • Understanding and utilizing tools, methods, processes, and techniques used to gather requirements.
  • Facilitating and/or participating in requirements gathering sessions.
  • User Centred Design and Usability Evaluation.
  • Applying methodology (e.g. RUP, Agile) to prepare high-level design documents.
• Project Administration / Project Lifecycle:
  • Ability to determine feasibility, cost and time estimates and impacts on current and proposed systems.
  • Develop project plans and manage technical resources to meet project deadlines. Designs, plans, and manages work efforts to deliver value-added solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders and according to project schedule.
  • Involved in testing activities, which can include documenting the test plan writing the test cases/scenarios, executing and running the test cases, documenting and submitting problems to development team for correction.
  • Develop any necessary training documents to support new/enhanced systems.
• Relationship Management:
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, peers, and management within the Business and IT.

 Requirements:

• Able to lead requirement gathering sessions, interviewing business and technical resources, extracting requirements, documenting and reporting the findings.
• Analytical skills to gather & interpret business requirements and provide documentation at a level easily understandable to those not having a deep online / internet background.
• Able to identify issues and propose solutions to reach consensus for quick resolution.
• Able to work independently with a proven track record of working successfully in a dynamic team environment
• Knowledge and interest in internet, online media and content management systems
• Knowledge of the software development life-cycle, working exposure in an application development environment.
• English language skills to a business standard.
• 5+ years of work experience and exposure to data analysis and technical writing.
• Degree in business, marketing, computer science and/or related field required.
• Previous experience working in a .com, online or Internet environment desired.
• Strong statistical analysis, interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills; requires ability to interact with software developers as well as other business stake holders.
