This is a newly created role as a result of business growth. Reporting to the Regional Storage Business Director, the Storage BDM will be responsible for the following (Inclusive but Not Exhaustive):
· Sales of LOB(Storage Business assigned) to achieve FY1x business plan by quarterly revenue for the line of business in focus
- Lead workshop events and POC's. Evangelist for EQL/PowerVault and Dell/EMC to ASG, sales, management and partners
- Participate in demand generation activities, such as, account visits, conducting workshops, speak in events, be a consultant during blitz days, etc
- Assists in formulating the customer's long-term strategic vision and the role Dell plays as a strategic partner - conduct technology or strategic IT planning forums
- Devise new approaches to sell ESG Storage products
- Sought out internally and externally for thought leadership related to Dell enterprise Storage products and services
- Involved in strategic planning of new commercial initiatives for area of focus
- Be a high level Technology2Business Solutions advisor to the sales force and customers at large in the area of focus
- Involved, manage, lead in QBR with management internally and with partners'
- Self development in area of relevant technologies and commercial application of these technologies
- Conducting update briefings / trainings to sales communities in the area of focus
